THE LIBERALS’ ENVIRONMENT POLICY IS EXTINCT
Scott Morrison has taken chaos to a new level by referring to legislation passing the parliament that never existed.
Yesterday when being questioned about what the Liberals were doing to address the extinction crisis we are facing, Mr Morrison claimed:
“We already introduced and passed legislation through the Senate actually dealing with that very issue in the last week of the parliament. We’ve been taking action on that.”
This question was asked the day after the UN Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services had released a report about the extinction of a million species.
The legislation referred to by Mr Morrison simply doesn’t exist.
It never happened and, like his Environment Minister, it has not been seen.
When it comes to the environment, we have a Prime Minister who doesn’t care referring to legislation that doesn’t exist and a Minister who can’t be found.
The Liberals’ environment policy is extinct.
